eCommerce - Actinic On-line Software

As an Actinic accredited developer, Minting Design will use Actinic software to design your eCommerce shop for you. This will provide you with an industry standard platform for the functionality of the shopping cart, which in turn, provides secure and safe eCommerce shopping for your customers.

Actinic will provide you with support and training so that you can be confident that your investment in your website is secure and transferable. This is not always the case when a website designer (who usually quotes a cheap price) uses his own shopping cart software and then disappears or goes out of business.

Just like a high street shop your new Actinic eCommerce shop will have two sections and these are:

  • the 'front of house' sales area which is your website
  • the 'back office' area which is the Actinic software on your computer

Your website will be designed by Minting Design and then will be hosted on our secure server for the world to see. Only future design changes will need our expertise.

Actinic software will be installed on your own computer so that you will be in full control of the day-to-day running of your business. You will want complete control over ‘stocking the shelves’ and ‘doing the books’ of your eCommerce shop and in our view that’s exactly how it should be!

The back office area is where payments are processed and emails are sent to your customers keeping them informed of how their transaction is progressing. Reports can be generated and a link to Sage Line 50 and Quick Books is available to assist you with your accounts.
