You will already have in place the following:
- products to sell
- an existing customer base to develop
- a means of processing debit/credit cards
- a space to store your stock
- an area in which to pack and despatch goods to your customers
- a business landline telephone number
- an address to which goods can be returned
- local authority planning and consents for your premises
All of the above can make the setting-up of your eCommerce shop simple and trouble free, as you can utilise the facilities in your current premises.
You will also need to put in place the following:
If you wish to take debit/credit cards on-line from you customers you will need to contact the company you currently use to process your card payments and
request an on-line facility for your account.
