Minting Communications
For a period of over 15 years Minting Communications, has been involved in supplying and installing voice and data equipment, cabling and project management. The following examples show the type of work undertaken during that period.
Telecommunications
Churchill Insurance Group / NIG (Now RBS) - U.K. wide - implementing moves and changes, patching and cable management in 19” racks and comms rooms. Testing, documentation and database maintenance to strict standards > 12 years.
Skandia - London - converted > 800 staff from pabx to Cable & Wireless VPN including complete new test jack frames, all jumpering and patching panels - 1999.
Hibernian Insurance - U.K. wide - call centres installed with ISDN ‘2’, ISDN ‘30’, Dass, AC15, IVM voice mail and ACD - 1999/2000.
ICO Polymers, Rushden - Panasonic KXTD digital key telephone system - 2001.
North British Housing Association - London - installation, maintenance and programming of Siemens iSDX ‘L’ PABX with 480 extensions and 60 channels of DLI - 1999.
Project Management
The National Insurance & Guarantee - UK wide - VPN rollout for its Head Office and 10 satellite City offices in the U.K. Liaising with C&W staff during this period - 2000.
Hibernian Insurance - U.K. wide - Integrated the voice communications from all city offices following acquisition by NIG. Planning and deployment. - 2000.
Project managing new installations - moves and changes and upgrades to large and small systems. Liaising with B.T., Cable & Wireless and other service providers including full documentation of projects and handover of systems has been routine > 15 years.
Marine
Bassefa EX-D intercoms and ‘Command and Orders’ systems installed and commissioned on the following vessels:
Sultanate of Oman Royal Yacht Squadron - vessel ‘Fulk Al Salamah’ - 1988.
B.P. Single Wellhead Oil Production - vessel ‘OPV Seillean’ - 1989.
British Antarctic Survey Ice Breaker - vessel ‘James Clark Ross’ - 1992.
